Paul Burgess

President and CEO

Paul Burgess has held the posts of President, CEO and Director since February 2005. He joined Lattice predecessor, Science Dynamics, in March 2003 as COO.

Previously Paul was president and CFO of Plan B Communications and prior to that he was responsible for the coast to coast development of networks for MetroNet Communications. In addition Paul oversaw development and deployment of the distributed computing strategy for ISM, later acquired by IBM Global Services.

Ralph Alexander

President of Govt. Services

Ralph Alexander, with 30 years of executive leadership and M&A experience, is uniquely qualified to accelerate Lattice’s growth. His most recent transaction was ATS Corporation’s purchase of Number Six Software, where he served as Chairman/CFO for 5 years. Previously he was President/CEO of Blueprint Technologies, President/ COO of Landmark Systems, and EVP/CFO of Rational Software. He has held positions with Xerox, American Totalisator, and Arthur Anderson.

Joe Noto

Chief Financial Officer

Joe Noto brings to Lattice more than 15 years of senior management experience in businesses ranging from venture-backed technology companies to operating divisions of Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Lattice predecessor Science Dynamics, Joe was CFO of Spectrotel, a telecommuni-cations service provider. Joe is a CPA and received his BA in Accounting from Rutgers University. He is a member of both the New Jersey Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Thomas R. Spadaro

Vice President of Engineering

Tom Spadaro leads the design and development efforts of telephony solutions that facilitate the transition from a circuit-switched network to a digital, packet-based communications environment. Since joining Science Dynamics in 1983, Tom has managed the development and design of all major product offerings, including the Integrator Series of IP gateways, the Call Control System for correctional facilities, and the VFX-250S Video over Frame Relay Access Device.

Terry Whiteside

General Manager, LSC

Terry joined Lattice in May 2007, bringing more than 19 years of executive and engineering expertise in telecommunications. Previously, he was Vice President of Operations at Spectrotel Communications where he was responsible for sales, marketing, engineering, customer service, and strategic planning. He was also at AT&T Canada where he oversaw the company’s coast-to-coast data and IP networks. Terry has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

John Boyd

John Boyd, as part of his business advisory practice, Boyd Operating Alliances, provides strategic growth and profit acceleration guidance for expansion stage businesses.

Including 33 years at AT&T, Boyd’s experience spans decades in the communications, technology, media, energy, and business services industries. He has been president/CEO of a business process outsourcing provider to the telecommunications industry, president/CEO of an energy services company, president of AT&T’s international computer business, and a senior adviser to CKX.

John also has served on multiple advisory and corporate boards, including businesses in global wireless distribution, retail technology, and media/entertainment. A graduate of Iona College, he holds a Masters degree from Pace University in Advanced Management and certificates from Wharton in Advanced Marketing Management and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Bob Galbraith

Bob Galbraith consults with firms seeking innovative technical solutions for incorporation into their security offerings. Bob evaluates marketing potential for existing and new applications of unique technology. His focus is on the federal government and NATO agencies, specializing in data encryption, internet telephony (VOIP), intelligent data recording, secure local and wide area network solutions, physical security, and biometric security.

Previously, Bob was President, owner, and technical administrator of Secure Engineering Services (SESI) from its founding in 1979 until its sale in 1996. SESI provided services and equipment to the U.S. Forces and NATO Forces in Europe. In conjunction with Sandia Labs, SESI provided support for Nuclear and other conventional weapon storage areas. In addition, SESI provided equipment and support of certified TEMPEST equipment and was responsible for the creation of the UDITS (USAEUR Digital Imagery Transmission System). SESI received the James S. Gogswell award for outstanding industrial security achievement.

Bob’s broad experience includes positions with Dacom Federal Systems, Control Data Corporation, and Fairchild Research and Development.

Mark V. Rosenker

Mark Rosenker was chairman and acting chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) from 2005-2009. He retired as a Major General in the U.S. Air Force Reserve in December 2006 after 37 years of combined active and reserve service. During his Air Force career, Mark served as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Military Office, where he was responsible for managing the military assets and personnel supporting the President and Vice President.

Prior to his NTSB role, Mark was Managing Director of the Washington Office of the United Network for Organ Sharing. Earlier, he served 23 years as Vice President, Public Affairs for the Electronic Industries Association. His government service spans the Department of the Interior, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Mark’s Air Force awards and decorations include the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal with One Oak Leaf Cluster and the Legion of Merit. He is a former member of the Board of Visitors to the Community College of the Air Force. In addition to graduating from the University of Maryland, Mark is a graduate of the Air Command and Staff College and the Air War College.

Donald Upson

Donald Upson recently retired as the Commonwealth of Virginia’s first Secretary of Technology and brings more than two decades of government, corporate, and high technology experience to Lattice. His principal responsibility was to ensure coordinated planning and effective development of the Commonwealth’s public sector information technology resources.

Don is a regular keynote speaker at e-government and technology focused conferences across the United States and worldwide, including Italy, Egypt, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
